The City Convenience Story

Way back in 1996 the first store opened on Pitt st in Sydney. Since then we have grown from strength to strength opening an average of 8 outlets per year.

How it all started

When the first store opened we wanted it to be the best convenience store in the city. Once we achieved that, it was clear that there was room for many more outlets like ours. The system of expanding became the natural next step for an efficiently functioning retail model.

Where we are now

With national outlets and many more to come, it is clear that the City Convenience model is working wherever it goes. Each store is managed by the owners, so running a profitable business, and providing great customers service is a vested interest to each individual store manager.

Suppliers are lining up to work with our group. We have agreements with all major product manufacturers and wholesalers. With such significant buying power, we can secure the best pricing and the best terms for each and every outlet, which means better quality goods, and better pricing for our customers nationwide.

Who is City Convenience

Jamal- Managing Director

Jamal is responsible for developing the City Convenience Group into the great company it is today. With outlets on almost every corner and a great product range that is there for customers at a time they need it.

Osama  & Mohamed- Management Team

Carrying on the tradition of growth and great service, Osama & Mohamed are next in line to manage the next phase of the business development. Working closely with Jamal, they will officially take on  more responsibility as time goes on, to the point where Jamal is no longer running the business on a day to day level.

Rami - Operations Manager

Responsible for supplier relationships and day to day problem solving, Rami is known by all of the outlets as on of the core elements in the City Convenience business. His is on call for outlets when they are having difficulties and works closely with Jamal in developing new sites.
